Probability signs NextGen deal; Q4 results 29/04/2009

Mobile gambling operator Probability has entered into a deal with games developer NextGen gaming to develop mobile versions of NextGen's most popular slots games.

The first game to be produced under the agreement is five-reel slots game “Ramesses Riches”, launched today. Via the recent distribution agreement with mFuse, the new games will also be made available to all mFuse clients, who include Ladbrokes, Betsson and Bet365. 

The deal was unveiled in a fourth-quarter update this morning, in which Probability announced it was on course to deliver a 60% increase in net gaming revenues to £5m for 2008-09.

Probability chief executive Charles Cohen said the performance represented “good progress for the company” given the economy.

Probability’s net gaming revenues for the quarter ended 31 March 2009, its fourth, were £1.1m The company saw 49,500 new customers register during the period, taking the total number of new customers registered during the full financial year to 249,000.

Cohen said: “Since the start of March we have experienced a strong upswing in customer activity, both in terms of utilisation and new customer registrations, spearheaded by the launch of "Grease" slots across all networks and to our player base of over 400,000 customers.”

The company will publish its full-year audited results for the 2008-09 financial year at the end of July
