Harrah’s Interactive Entertainment (HIE) boss and ex PartyGaming chief Mitch Garber has painted his vision of the future of online gambling, in which Americans are free to gamble online legally and the industry is dominated by “a few strong, global operators”.
America will legalise online gambling to create a US online poker and casino market worth up to $12bn, Goldman Sachs has predicted.
Bet365 boss John Coates has said that the company does not have plans to move offshore. Responding to William Hill chief executive Ralph Topping’s hint that William Hill could move offshore due to tax pressures, Coates told the Financial Times yesterday that Bet365 is “a Stoke [UK] firm and that’s important to us.”
888’s B2B division Dragonfish has signed three new bingo partners. Moon Bingo and BingoHollywood will operate as standalone networks, while Costa Bingo, which launched as a free bingo room on the Dragonfish network, will be fully managed by Dragonfish. As reported on EGRmagazine.com, Dragonfish is to extend a free bingo promotion across its bingo networks after a free bingo pilot on Costa and Cheeky Bingo generated double-digit revenue growth in three months.
Affiliate marketing software provider Income Access is providing the software to power the affiliate programmeme for gambling site ShootJack. As well as offering bonuses, ShootJack also allows players to submit new casino games for the site, with the player behind each month’s most popular game receiving royalties.
Gaming bank Ivobank is now supporting Norwegian Kroner. Ivobank’s merchant portfolio includes operators with a Scandinavian presences including Betsson, Expekt, Nordic Bet and Unibet.
Remote gaming software supplier WagerWorks has released online ports of Barcrest games Rainbow Riches, Ca$hino and Elvis Top 20.
