Net Entertainment forms tie with Paf for Nordic licensing 03/07/2009

Stephen Carter

Net Entertainment.(NetEnt) has struck a licensing deal with Nordic operator Paf.

The agreement will see the online casino software supplier provide download and browser-based versions of its CasinoModule product suite to Paf for a four year period.

Net Entertainment chief executive Johan Ohman said the agreement solidified his company’s position as a leading gaming software supplier in the European market.

Ohman said: “The countries around the Baltic Sea are a large and important market for online gaming, yet controlled by a handful of operators, where Paf is one of the largest.”

Licensed by Finland’s semi-autonomous Åland islands, Paf’s online operation generated gross gaming yield of over 66m euro in 2007, the last year for which full-year figures are available.

The two parties will aim to launch the casino during the second quarter of 2009.
