Coral takes on FSB Tech player performance betting 14/08/2009
BOOKMAKER CORAL has signed a deal with FSB Technology to launch a new football product allowing bets on player performance.
The Points Performance Measurement system and Top Player football betting markets provided by FSB went live today ahead of Sunday’s Liverpool vs Tottenham Hotspur match.
They combine performance measurement with fixed-odds betting on matches, allowing customers to bet on which English Premiership players will deliver best performance, rated on a points system for criteria such as goals, assists and tackles.
Coral head of football Nick Goff said: "FSB's Player Performance betting is a product which is certain to appeal to experienced football betting punters and fantasy sports enthusiasts alike. It will give us a unique and compelling point of difference over our bookmaking rivals as we embark on the new football season."
The markets are supported by a white-labelled service providing live FSB Points updates, historic performance data and commentary from sports journalist Jeff Stelling.
As reported on EGRmagazine.com, FSB added fixed-odds markets this month after securing cash from Sportingbet founder Mark Blandford and Betfair founder Andrew Black.
The company, which was founded by chief executive Dave McDowell and chief technology officer Sam Lawrence, provides live player performance measurement, fixed-odds pricing solutions and an in-running sports betting solution. It is focused primarily on major European football leagues and competitions.
