Lads and Hills live with Mfuse iPhone app

Ladbrokes and William Hill have both gone live with Mfuse’s new iPhone sports betting application.

The product allows customers to access the full range of betting markets, including in-play, check the latest odds in real time and view the latest results.

Ladbrokes’ managing director of remote gaming, John O’Reilly, said: “Mobile betting and gaming will be a key driver of growth in the sector in the next few years – the Ladbrokes iPhone application is another step forward in making mobile betting and gaming easier to access.”

Michael Byrne, head of mobile at William Hill, added: “We are delighted to now be able to offer iPhone users an optimised betting experience suited to their device. We are confident this will increase our reach and help attract new customers to our business".

Rick Brownlow (pictured), business development director of Mfuse, said: “Our new web apps will provide the iPhone community with a host of betting and gaming applications which are unavailable through the current App Store.”

According to Apple, there are now over 1.5 million iPhone and iPod Touch users in the UK.

Sorry - this article is a little confusing - is this an application within the iStore which is betting enabled? Or is this simply a handset optimised version of their existing sites? A misleading headline and article really

What's it called and how do we access it? I think the press release is simply a press release! There is no app and no iPhone enabled site, so what is it talking about?

Just go to mobile.williamhill.com on your iPhone and you can install the app.
