The site, ElectionPredict.com, will provide the latest polling data and Betfair market information across a range of political topics from the overall composition of the House of Commons and likelihood of a Hung Parliament down to individual constituency results. The site will also offer tools for news portals, websites and bloggers to use on their own site, and individual commentators will be able to customise their own versions of the tools to provide a bespoke reference for users. More functionality will be added to the site later.
Ladbrokes has launched Microgaming's new 1Click Poker client. Players opening the client are presented with three decisions: real money or play money; ring game or sit 'n' go; and how much they'd like to buy-in for. One click confirms their choice and the player is immediately seated. Built using Flash, 1Click Poker is Mac and PC compatible and can be played in a range of browsers.
Social media and technology consultancy OoSocial has launched its OOCONNECT social CRM platform with client GTech G2. The platform enables companies to send targeted communications to their existing customers via widgets inside social networks, start pages, blogs and on the desktop. 17 GTECH G2's clients including Butlins and Littlewoods are launching on the platform.
Boylesports has signed a deal with dedicated sports betting TV service The Betting Channel to sponsor segments of the channel's output. The Irish bookmaker will contribute odds, markets and guests to The Betting Channel, which streams via TheBettingChannel.tv. The bookmaker's logo will appear on studio backdrops and graphics and as part of the deal Boylesports head of PR Leon Blanche and Entertainment spokesperson Nicola McGeady will join host Alan Bentley.
Gala TV is to feature UK terrestrial television channel ITV's This Morning show 'fashion expert' John Scott, who will bring viewer fashion news and help with style quandaries from 5 March. The interactive bingo channel is web-streamed on GalaBingo.com and broadcast on Sky and Freesat Channel 861.
