Power 50

10-12 May 2009,
South Lodge Hotel, West Sussex

The 2009 Power 50 summit is an opportunity for key executives of the most influential companies in the egaming sector to thrash out the issues that matter.

Over two days, the industry's leading figures listen to the views of the panels and join in live debate. The event also provides opportunities for networking as well as debate late into the night over drinks.

Day 1

The Chair for the event  is eCOGRA chairman Michael Hirst, who will kick the day off with a panel of leading chief executives, with PartyGaming's Jim Ryan and Ladbrokes' John O’ Reilly sitting the hot seat. The keynote speaker for the event is Ashley Highfield, managing director and vice-president of consumer and online at Microsoft UK, while Andrew Smith, chief economist at KPMG, will provide an insight into how the economic downturn could affect the industry.
Henry Birch, chief executive of William Hill Online, Dragonfish managing director Gabi Campos, Nikolai Riesenkampff, co-chief executive of Moneybookers and Brian Hadfield, CEO of CrytoLogic, will also provide their incisive views on the increased blurring of lines between suppliers and operators in the egaming sector.

Day 2

The second day of the Power 50 will see Income Access chief executive Nicky Senyard chair an affiliate panel that will discuss the key influence of affiliates on the industry. Karim Wilkins of RakeTheRake and Mark Locke of Betgenius will give their thoughts on how both sides of the relationship between affiliates and operators can ensure it works best for them.

Evolution Gaming chief executive Jens von Bahr and Michael Altrichter of Paysafecard.com will explore the needs of operators and what operators should be asking of their service providers.

The event concludes with the unveiling of exclusive research by Foviance highlighting common areas for improvement across the industry.

The Power 50 is an invitation-only event that takes place under Chatham House rules. However for the first time, this year eGR is accepting questions for panellists ahead of the event, which will be answered in the June edition of eGaming Review and on eGRmagazine.com.
